A partir de enero del 2001 empezará a circular gratuitamente por via electrónica el BOLETIN DE PLANTAS MEDICINALES Y AROMATICAS de la Red Mexicana de Plantas Medicinales, Aromáticas, Condimenticias y Cosméticas Orgánicas (REDMEXPLAM) que tendrá una periodicidad bimestral.
Los invitamos a enviar artículos, comentarios e información sobre actividades de investigación, divulgación y promoción que se realicen en sus países en los campos del manejo sustentable, conservación ecológica, cultivo orgánico, procesamiento, control de calidad, estandarización, reglamentación, comercialización y cualquier otro asepcto relacionado con los recursos herbolarios.
Así mismo les solicitamos nos hagan llegar publicaciones de investigación, capacitación y difusión científica para comentarlas en la sección respectiva del Boletín.

PLANTLAX is a pioneering organization in Mexico with an emphasis on organic herb products under a sustainable management. PLANTLAX also uses ecological agrotechniques that do not pollute soil, water and air. They are cultivated free of fertilizers, plague killers and fungicides of chemical synthesis. In any of its processing stages additives or toxic preservatives are used.
PLANTLAX looks for the conservation of our wild flora through its rational exploitation and its ecological recovery. For the first time in Mexico it introduces for cultivation species with high national and international demand for the organic, herbal, pharmaceutical, nutritional and cosmetic market.
In the obtainment of its products PLANTLAX uses compost, ecological control of plagues, well watering and recycled materials. The recollection is carried out at specific hours of the day and proper seasons of the year. The drying up is carried out in the shade avoiding the lost of volatile active substances.
PLANTLAX products are the only ones in the national market in which its botanical authenticity is guaranteed, caducity in its usage and high quality in its processing, giving a high confidence to the consumer.
Ecological products of PLANTLAX derive from over 100 botanical native and exotic species collected and cultivated by the Cooperative Society of Ecological Farms of Medicinal, Aromatical, Condiments and Cosmetic Plants in the Mexican states of Tlaxcala, Puebla, Morelos, Baja California, Queretaro, Michoacan states.
The staff which elaborates the PLANTLAX products is advised and trained by the non-profit association Ecologia y Desarrollo de Tlaxcala y Puebla A.C. in the project Mercados Verdes Herbolarios with help from the Fondo de America del Norte para la Cooperacion Ambiental.
PLANTLAX products are scientifically supervised in each stage of its processing by research from the Jardin Botanico Universitario from the Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala which organizes the Congreso Nacional de Plantas Medicinales de Mexico.
PLANTLAX produces seeds, dried herbs, nursery plants, rooted stems and slips, syrups, soaps, potpourri, dyes, extracts, tinctures, facial masks, capsules, infusion oils and spreading publications.
Products are sent inside and outside of the country in retail and wholesale.
Advising and training are given through courses, workshops, and seminars to agricultural producers, technicians, and commercial enterprises. |
